*This role is a full-time onsite position at our Dallas, TX headquarters 5 days a week*
We are looking for an experienced D2C brand marketing leader to join the Joon Loloi team and help us continue to build on our 20-year heritage, reaching new audiences with a compelling story and growing our brand.
Our ideal candidate has a track record of building strong D2C brands that deliver business results. You will have demonstrated an ability to create compelling content and campaigns that engage potential customers and make brands memorable.
You will help to define and refine our brand, own our brand calendar, have direct oversight of content and creative production across multiple channels, and frequently be leading a broader cross-functional team through the work required to establish and build a recognizable and sought-after brand. We’re looking for someone with strong creative vision and the operational capability to bring that vision to life.
On any given day you might be:
Working with the social team on creative ideation for campaign execution that will capture our audiences’ attention and deliver our message.
Directing, reviewing, editing, and in some cases writing copy and content across channels: website, email, advertising.
Researching and proposing collaborators that are suitable for our brand and will deliver commercial outcomes.
Reviewing research insights and considering how to turn them into action.
Planning out a collection launch campaign – how it will unfold across channels and time.
Responsibilities:
Continue to refine and develop our brand identity, narrative and voice through storytelling, compelling creative, brand partnerships, and more.
Build, lead and develop a high-performance brand marketing team, including functions like social, copy and content, creative, email, affiliate, activations/events, PR, and more. This will include identifying times when we need additional support and finding and managing the right agency partners to augment our in-house capabilities when that is the case.
Own the marketing calendar across brand initiatives and product launches, ensuring GTM strategies are brand-right and meeting business objectives.
Define and manage our suite of distinctive brand assets, ensuring that we are consistently recognizable.
Identify and establish strategic partnerships to build brand equity and drive business results.
Leverage data from our customers and other industry research to produce insights that sharpen our strategy across the organization.
Together with marketing leadership, identify and sharpen our key measures of brand health, and own the development and execution of the plan to drive improvement.
In collaboration with marketing leadership, develop marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention to achieve brand and profitability goals.
Create strong alignment with the digital commerce team to create the best end-to-end customer journey, from initial discovery to purchase to post-purchase.
Build and foster a customer-centric culture. Everything we do—from a high-funnel awareness campaign to the fine details of a product label—should be done to a high standard that elevates the brand and customer experience.
