Lush Hiring Process Overview

Lush’s hiring process consists of 4 different rounds of interviews with their team members if you are applying for a role that is NOT in retail. Those 5 rounds of interviews include:

  • Zoom Interview with Team Member
  • Assessment / Presentation Given
  • Zoom Interview with Full Team Presenting Assessment

Although this is the typical hiring process, the amount of interviews differ between roles. As a general rule of thumb, the more senior your role is the more interviews you will undergo.

For sales associate / retail roles, the process includes 3 rounds of interviews that look like the following:

  • Group interview to present a lush product
  • 1 on 1 interviews
  • Trial interview selling in-store

How Difficult Is It To Get Hired At Lush?

Lush’s hiring process is rated 2.8 out of 5 by Glassdoor. Out of 523 interviews, 16% were rated negative, 66% were rated positive, & about 18% were rated neutral. Since Lush is a very big company, you can expect a very organised interview process with the hiring team. Their sales associate interviews follow the same process of group interviews, in-store trials, and questions about selling product

How Long Does It Take To Hear Back From Lush After The First Interview

Lush has been consistent with following up each interview by planning the next interview, usually done within a week's time depending on the calendar availability. You can expect a second interview in under 1 week if you pass the first interview and the technical assessments.

For retail associates / sales roles, you can expect to hear back within a couple days or even after your interview process as they like to hire pretty quickly for these roles to cover positions.

Step 3: Getting Hired

How Long Does The Entire Hiring Process At Lush Take?

Typically, you can expect the entire process to take up to 2 - 4 weeks.

We have heard of reports for higher up, managerial roles to take up to 3 months. For roles that are more senior, their process of vetting the candidate will take longer thus the whole hiring process will be longer.

For retail associates, you can expect to hear back within 0-4 days.
