Zara Careers: A Guide To Getting Hired At Zara

Amancio Ortega started Zara in 1975 with his first shop being in central A Coruna, in Galicia, Spain. The store sold low-ticket products that copied styles from popular, higher-end clothing fashion. In the 80s, Ortega changed the business model to have faster lead times in order to act quickly toward trends. A term he labelled as “instant fashion”.

Today, Zara still follows that same focus on fast fashion, selling clothing styles that mimic trends that consumers want. Zara has 2,003 stores located in 96 countries.
