You have a strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively, provide administrative support for the team, and stay ahead of industry trends and competitive strategies.
About The Role
The Assistant, Brand & Communications will work to support and execute strategies that amplify goop’s brand narrative across its diverse business priorities. From product launches to high-profile events, this role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication, fostering key relationships, and delivering impactful campaigns.
Responsibilities include:
Work with the Senior Manager of Communications to execute communications strategies across goop's priorities: goop Beauty, G. Label by goop, experiential, retail, collaborations, wholesale, and brand partnerships
Support Senior Manager of Communications with scheduling, glam, and appearance logistics for goop's CEO
Support strategy and timeline around product launches, assisting with the management of multiple external agencies
Foster key relationships with global media, thought-leaders, and influencers across the business, trade, fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle and proactively pitch media
Develop creative ideation on how to communicate goop's value proposition in new, exciting ways, integrating press, content, and social media for 360 storytelling
Work with the Brand Team to plan and execute tentpole brand events and campaigns
Provide administrative support for the department, including media reporting, campaign recaps, list management, sample and gift trafficking, industry reports, etc.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related area of study
1-2 years’ experience in public relations and influencer marketing, preferably for a luxury brand with a strong digital footprint
Strong analytical and writing skills
Proven track record of working cross-functionally and managing priorities
Experience supporting compelling public relations campaigns
A combination of in-house and agency experience preferred
