About The Role
As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company’s IT systems. Reporting to the Director, IT, you will work closely with the team to address technical issues and support overall IT functions. Your contributions will enhance the efficiency and productivity of our team, helping the company achieve its strategic goals.
Responsibilities include:
Provide first-line technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and laptop issues, including operating systems and applications.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and installation of new equipment.
Recommend and develop automation tools for streamlining of daily tasks.
Document and track support requests using the company’s ticketing system.
Collaborate with other IT staff to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Qualifications & Experience
2-3 years of experience in a desktop support role or similar IT position.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Windows and macOS operating systems and common software applications.
Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Intune and Kandji.
Experience with Powershell, bash and/or Python.
Understanding of ITIL practices.
Understanding of Cyber Security best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Experience with ticketing systems and IT support documentation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
