About The Role
As the Workplace Experience Manager, you are responsible for building a welcoming and positive environment for our goop employees, vendors, building management, and visitors. While working cross-functionally with many teams and reporting to the COO, you will be integral to the workplace in promoting a highly collaborative, fun, and safe environment.
Responsibilities include:
Acts as the first point of contact at the goop HQ and provides general support to visitors, welcoming them into the corporate office
Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and the overall condition of the office, managing the general kitchen area (reordering snacks and supplies, ensuring devices are in working order, etc.), arranging necessary repairs by coordinating with facility management vendors, including cleaning, security services, HVAC, etc.
Maintains office efficiency by managing space utilization and planning for and implementing office systems and new equipment
Oversees facilities budget and ensures that all items are invoiced and paid on time
Owns inter-office calendar, scheduling companywide Stand-up meetings, and all goopKitchen conference room needs
Handle all mailing, shipping, packages, and deliveries (Pick up mail from PO box weekly and pick up USPS mail from the lobby mailbox daily)
Partners with People Operations to update and maintain office policies as necessary
Coordinates with the IT department on all office equipment
Addresses employees’ queries regarding office management issues and works cross-functionally to find solutions
Plans in-house or off-site activities such as company events and team-building experiences

Demonstrates an attention to detail regarding aesthetics and care of a shared workspace
Experience working with vendors to proactively manage and resolve all building issues
Able to manage vendor billing and an OPEX budget
Is organized, thorough, and a problem-solver
Has strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms, etc.)
Has strong interpersonal skills and can communicate with all levels in the organization
Lives close to our Santa Monica office, being available according to our hybrid work policy and for unplanned office needs and remote work days
