About The Role
We are looking for a motivated Specialist, Accounts Payable to process full-cycle AP and act alongside the AP supervisor on all AP-related inquiries, both internally and externally. You will be part of a fun and dynamic finance and accounting team and will work to ensure all aspects of payables are done efficiently and timely.
Responsibilities include:
Develop keen understanding of the inventory procurement process
Match invoices to purchase orders (3-way match)
Process and code all other invoicing
Respond timely to vendor inquiries via email and payment software
Work internally with departments to process payment requests and ensure invoices are being processed correctly and on time.
Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
Work with logistic and buying teams on shipping issues
Keep accurate records of W9’s for 1099 filings
Complete credit applications, vendor forms and resale certificates by request
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of AP experience in a high-volume environment 3-way match experience and strong attention to detail
Knowledge of coding within different departments and sales channels
Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
NetSuite and/or Stampli experience a plus
