Serve as the go-to product expert within the organization, having a deep understanding of product features, specifications and consumer benefits thereof, as well as a keen knowledge of the competition and market conditions for assigned product categories
Identify consumer unmet needs and pain points, translating these into key differentiating product features and specifications that will set MANSCAPED® products above the competition, serving as the “voice of customer” champion within the organization
Develop and present a detailed business case, based on customer & market research data and financial analysis, gaining alignment with Executive Leadership and other key stakeholders to allocate organizational resources towards new product development projects
Set direction for product positioning, features & specifications, product & packaging design direction, and other product related criteria through leading the development and communication of Product Requirements (PRD) User Requirements (UR) and documents
Lead cross-functional project teams in the execution of developing new products within areas of assigned responsibility through all phases of the MANSCAPED® product development process
Lead internal and external recurring communication and collaboration, including regular evening teleconferences with manufacturing partners in Asia, on new product development projects through effective meeting agendas, ensuring all project team members have the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas, ultimately holding the project team accountable for completing their individual project deliverables on time
Provide timely project status updates to Leadership teams, including the C-Suite and other key cross-functional stakeholders through effective communication that is tailored for easy understanding and digestion among the audience
Monitor post-launch product sales performance, customer ratings, and other product related data points, celebrating successes and formulating action plans for rapid course correction where necessary
Foster the development of deep business relationships with strategic contract manufacturing partners

Requirements
10+ years of proven experience in developing and managing consumer products, rooted in validated consumer needs, wants & expectations; experience managing electronic, technical, or rechargeable products is strongly preferred
Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with proven ability to lead & influence people without authority and effectively manage up
Keen business acumen and data analytical skills
Technical aptitude, including basic engineering, product design, and architectural knowledge & understanding
Proven experience in working closely with overseas product manufacturing organizations
Strategic thinking and ability to make effective decisions to navigate dynamic business situations
Highly motivated with proven ability to take initiative and lead projects with minimal direction
Deep passion for developing and introducing consumer products to the market that make a significant positive impact on people’s lives
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office suite of products
Ability to occasionally travel domestically and internationally
