Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team consisting of Production Leads and Associates. Production Supervisors ensure the production function is performed satisfactorily, which includes plating and packaging meals, snacks, and beverages.This position is 100% onsite in Burlington, NJ.How you'll make a difference:Supervise and coordinate production operations for team members, including scheduling, time management, performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplineChampion employee morale at all timesIdentify training needs and areas for employee development and professional growthAct as liaison and point of contact between leads, associates, and management teamEnsure employees are following GMPs, ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards and Thistle policyImplement and champion new and existing initiatives across production teamsWork cross-functionally with Culinary, Production, and Facilities teams to ensure proper receiving, handoffs, QA, and other organizational GMPs and standardsEnsure the accuracy of manifests and documentation logs, and ensure all team members understand their functionalitiesKeep up to date and maintain a working knowledge of relevant SOPs and processesHave consistent communication with the team for issues, and work with management to troubleshoot and resolve any challenges in real-time effectively and efficientlyPerform production area audits and conduct regular shift meetings to comply with GMPs, food safety, audits, and safety regulationsAttend weekly safety meetings; maintain records of policy changes and rolloutsWe’re always willing to learn and aim to empower the people around us.We tackle every day with the positive attitude of someone who can see the future and knows how bright it is.Our mission guides our decisions and gives our work meaning.Diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential values at Thistle.
